Stops Drop in NYC
The number of "stop, question and frisk" stops reported by the NYPD dropped 22% citywide from 2011 to 2012. Colors below show the drop (orange) and rise (blue) in specific spots.

    NYPD Stop, Question and Frisk data. Processed using R Stats software, and this script. Hexagon bins built with QGIS mapping software and the MMQGIS plugin. Points-in-polygons calculation done in PostgreSQL using PostGIS.
