Still Can't Connect
Sandy destroyed most of Verizon's copper wire network in downtown Manhattan, and many customers remain without landline or Internet service. Colors represent customers with continued disruptions, intermittent service, fully restored service and those who canceled their Verizon service. There is no public database for such outages, so help us map the problem: If your service has been out since Sandy, email newsroom@wnyc.org with "outage" as the subject and details in the body.
